The Procedure
Before the procedure, you will have a consultation with Dr Amrita Bhogal to discuss your goals, medical history, and any concerns. Dr Amrita will examine your facial muscles to determine the best injection sites to achieve the optimal clinical outcome. The skin is then prepped for the procedure.
A very fine needle is used to inject the medicine into the specific muscles causing wrinkles. Common areas include the forehead, crow's feet (around the eyes), and frown lines (between the eyebrows). The number of injections varies depending on the treatment area and desired results. The injections usually take only 10-15 minutes to administer.
Due to the nature of the treatment and vasculature of the face, there is a small risk of bruising.
